    About NBPC Local 1613

-NBPC Local 1613 is the exclusive representative (labor union) of approximately 2300 non-supervisory Border Patrol Agents and support personnel assigned to the San Diego Sector of the Border Patrol.

    - The U.S. Border Patrol is under the direction of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

    - Since 9-11-01, the duties of Border Patrol Agents have diminished even further than when the Border Patrol was under the direction of the legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service. This is due to political appointees like CBP Deputy Commissioner David Aguilar who are more concerned with protecting their careers than they are with protecting the United States. It is also due to politicians who are more concerned with the flow of money from their campaign contributors than they are with the flow of illegal aliens into the United States.

    - NBPC Local 1613 strives to aggressively and successfully continue "Protecting Those Who Protect Our Borders!" and historically have been the only ones consistently defending those who defend our borders.
